Description
Circa 1832. Two side-by-side brick Federal mansions with Victorian embellishments have been restored to preserve their antiquity yet provide today's conveniences. Built in the early 1830s as private homes, their history includes having served as a stagecoach tavern, primary school, and possibly a stop on the Underground Railroad. Watch videos, play games or read a book by the fire in the library. Socialize over hors d’oeuvres in the parlor. Two main breakfast dishes, pastries and breads, a hot or cold fruit sampler, juice and freshly ground coffee are enjoyed in the formal Dining Room or the light and airy Sun Porch.
