Circa 1886. This spacious Tudor estate was built on prime acreage above the waterfall in Bear Creek Village by lumber and ice baron Albert Lewis. Dr. & Mrs. A.H. Von Dran have spent many years restoring the mansion. Filled with antiques, some rooms boast furnishings original to the house. An elegant four-course breakfast is served in the Presidential dining room with choice of filet mignon, salmon or shrimp scampi. Horses are raised on the property.

Historic Interest |
Built in 1895 by the ice and lumber baron Albert Lewis. The area boasts of many architectural landmarks including Tiffany signature cemetary, the mansion with Tiffany transoms, handblown lead windows and is cradled in the majestic mountains. President Theodore Roosevelt was a guest of Albert Lewis and hence our Presidential Suite with original guestroom furniture similar to the Lincoln Suite at the White House. Historic Awards: National Register (Granted).
