Circa 1870. Aaron Burr hid in this Bucks County house after his infamous duel with Alexander Hamilton. The home also is one of the Wedgwood Collection inns. A Victorian Shingle style, it is in the National Register. Its three stories, including the spacious parlor, are appointed with antiques and reproductions. Guest rooms offer amenities such as private baths, telephones and TVs, and many have two-person whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Within walking distance are fine restaurants, shops and art galleries. The grounds offer two gazebos, stately old trees, a screened-in flagstone patio and a barn perfect for bicycle storage.
