Description
Circa 1892. Windows rimmed with stained glass and gingerbread trim decorate the exterior of this Queen Anne Victorian. The home is nestled on 10 acres of vineyards, orchards and stately, old cedar trees. Visitors may even pick a few of the succulent grapes. Guest rooms are decorated in period style with antiques, and each is named appropriately for a variety of wine. Upon returning from a day of sightseeing, guests are treated to late afternoon refreshments. Breakfasts are a treat, and the innkeepers serve dishes such as a baked peach with a stuffing of raspberries and cream, baked herbed eggs or perhaps an Italian frittata. Homemade scones are a specialty.
