DescriptionThere are natural mineral hot springs under the inn’s eight acres. Stay in a guest bedroom, suite or cottage. The suites and cottages feature private, large spa tubs filled with water from the mineral springs. A fireplace, extensive library of books to select from and a piano to play are highlights of the common areas. The grounds that surround the buildings include expansive lawns as well as flower, vegetable and herb gardens. Enjoy baked breads, fresh fruit and a savory egg dish for the morning meal. Visit the inn’s new full-service spa to relax or detoxify to feel fully rejuvenated. The heart of Ashland is only two miles away with its many cultural attractions such as theaters and art galleries. A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the Carriage House featuring main dishes made from scratch, fresh-baked breads, seasonal fruit, and locally produced, hand roasted coffee. Room DetailThe Cottages The romantic two-room English cottages have a living room with Italianate furnishings, a love seat sofa, fireplace (gas), small table and chairs, CD player, wet bar sink, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. The bedroom has a King bed. The bathroom has two pedestal sinks, a hair dryer and shower. These cottages have a cable television discreetly tucked into the living room armoire. Rates: $179 - $179 Type of bed: King The Carriage House Suite The Carriage House Suite is the same rate as the duplex suites. It is on the second floor of the Main House, with a garden view from the small shared front balcony. It is a bit larger than the duplex suites, with a mini-kitchen area combined with the living room. The single whirlpool is in the King-bed bedroom. The mini kitchen area has a microwave, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, table and chairs, full sink and cabinets with limited dishware available. There is a love seat sofa in the living room and a CD player. The bathroom has a shower. Rates: $179 - $179 Type of bed: King Garden Rooms In the Main House are two spacious Queen-bed bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and shower, love seat sofa, desk and coffeemaker. No whirlpool. Both are on the second floor; one shares a balcony overlooking the back gardens. Rates: $135 - $135 Type of bed: Queen Garden Spa Rooms On the second floor of the Main House are the two Queen bed bedrooms, each with a single whirlpool. The Irish Suites amenities include a double whirlpool tub filled with natural mineral water, each surrounded with an original hand-painted trompe l'ioeil mural. The suites have a love seat and electric fireplace to create a cozy atmosphere. Furnishings include table and chairs, CD player, wet bar sink, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. The bedroom has a King bed and the bathroom has a hair dryer and shower.
This cozy "Love Nest" has King-size bed and a red heart-shaped double whirlpool. Located on the second story of the water tower, it is the only room in a stand-alone building. It has a loves eat sofa, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, CD player and a bathroom with a shower. A young Russian artist painted the walls with roman columns, vines, and cherubs. There is a porch off the doorway that faces the hillside.
On the second floor of the Main House, it overlooks the front gardens. The Parisian is decorated with whitewood and wicher furniture with lilac accents. The large bedroom area has a loveseat sofa, table and chairs, and small refrigerator. The expansive whirlpool room, lit by 4 skylights, has a double whirlpool overlooked by a handpainted wall mural of a French village.
The Emperor is the largest room and is next to the Main House. Accented with opulent oriental antiques, it has a King bed, gas fireplace, black double whirlpool, rosewood furniture, a wet bar sink, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, CD player and a unique bathroom with shower. The highlight is a Chinese, hand-carved wooden screen that is 350 years old.
