Circa 1875. The Telegraph House Bed & Breakfast is a Heritage Landmark, historic two-story yellow brick Victorian adorning the north shore of Lake Erie in Port Stanley Ontario. It is an easy walk to the summer theater, shops and restaurants in the quaint fishing village. Inviting guest rooms boast fireplaces, soaking tubs, DVD libraries, feather-top mattresses with duvets and a pillow selection. Breakfast is served from a menu in the main fireside dining room or al fresco on the large side porch and in the garden with a harbor view. The inn’s Pineapple Dining Room is open to the public for breakfast and lunch. Browse through the Tea Shop for treasures to take home. Play golf at a nearby course, take a wine-tasting tour or visit a local museum.

Historic Interest

Built in l875 on an older footprint of Colonel Bostwick's original house, double foundation walls, 4 feet apart. First telegraph machine in the village located on second floor landing that was installed as an early weather/warning system for boats crossing Lake Erie.

Romantic Interest

Quiet getaway on the harbor in small fishing village. Watch the sailboats leave the harbor from side porch in the summer. Both beaches are within walking distance from the house for long walks after supper and theater or lazy afternoons.
