Circa 1886. Built by a Civil War veteran, this Victorian still has the original fish scale on its gables, and inside, it features carved-oak woodwork and oak doors. Guests are treated to a complimentary basket of fruit and cheese in their air-conditioned rooms. Outside are flower gardens with birdbaths and a water fountain. Nearby colleges are Malone, Walsh, Mount Union and Kent State University.
