Description

Overlooking the scenic valley, village and rolling hills, this elegant Tudor home was originally built by Dave Longaberger, founder of the famous basket company. Tour the inn to discover the many common areas to enjoy, including the former library showcasing a stone fireplace. Spacious guest bedrooms are decorated to depict local history and sites. All feature CD players for musical ambiance. Most have refrigerators, and some offer a one-person or double Jacuzzi, clawfoot tub and gas-log fireplace. A hand-painted mural enhances the formal dining room where breakfast includes signature cinnamon rolls, homemade breads, fruit, cereal, yogurt and three hot entrees. Three levels of private and common decks and covered verandas with hammocks provide relaxation and panoramic views.

Location: Village.

Fall asleep to the twinkling lights of Dresden and wake up to a million dollar view. This room has a more modern feel. The amenities include an electric fireplace for ambiance, a two-person whirlpool tub, which opens to the panoramic view. The private wraparound deck provides a quiet escape and breathtaking view of the entire valley.

Founders Room

The guest can curl up in the King-size sleigh bed or on the daybed with a good book and enjoy a cozy fire. The room is decorated with accent pieces that reflect the former library, including a collector's edition of Zane Grey novels. Amenities include a DVD, VCR, CD player and direct access to the main deck.

The Lodge

Originally a sauna, the paneled walls and skylight make the Lodge the perfect room to capture that outdoor feeling.
