Description
Circa 1932. Located in the heart of Blowing Rock, a short walk from Main Street's shops and a variety of restaurants, this elegantly restored inn offers gables, balconies, porches and a turret, all set off with white trim and borders of white impatiens. A fetching Victorian flower garden adds to the appeal and draws passers-by to pause and take in the picture-perfect scene. Baskets of flowers hang from the balconies, and each suite has a private entrance, ceiling fan, deluxe bath, luxurious comforter and small refrigerator. Two rooms have large Jacuzzi baths as well as separate showers and there are four rooms with fireplaces. Spacious decks offer large rockers overlooking the garden. Blowing Rock has been a Blue Ridge resort for more than 100 years and is named for a rock that hangs over a cliff.
