Description

Circa 1873. Successfully completing a six-year restoration to reflect its Second Empire-style origins by adding back a third-floor mansard roof, tower and bay windows, this 130-year-old mansion is accented with period antiques and artwork and offers exquisite Southern hospitality. Through the leaded glass doors of the main entry hall with original Minton tiles underfoot, the South and North Parlors are inviting places to gather. Relax in the lush library or Chess Room. For a restful retreat, the second-floor porch is casual and cozy. Guest bedrooms feature designer appointments and décor with luxurious fabrics on the half-tester, four-poster and canopy beds. A formal breakfast is served in the grand dining room. Enjoy refreshments in the walled-in garden overlooking the landscaped lawn, fountains and koi pond with three waterfalls. Stroll to the waterfront boutiques and restaurants just three blocks away.
