Description
Circa 1931. Located in the Great Smokies, Mountain Brook in western North Carolina consists of 14 cabins on a hillside amid rhododendron, elm, maple and oak trees. The resort's 200-acre terrain is crisscrossed with brooks and waterfalls, contains a trout-stocked pond and nature trail. Two cabins are constructed with logs from the property, while nine are made from native stone. They feature fireplaces, full kitchens, porch swings and some have Jacuzzi's.
