The inn was built in 1902 by Frank Adams Moss and Mary Bonner Moss, local lumbermill owners. The carved mantles, each unique in design, were milled especially for the house, and three of the four guestrooms feature the original mantles, with original tiles. The house is now listed on the National Historic
Register as part of the historic district. Historic Awards: National Register (Granted), State Register (Granted) and Local Register (Granted).
