Description
Circa 1863. Centrally located just off Main Street in the village, the original building of this mountain retreat was built in the late 1800s over an artesian spring that is thought to be the start of the New River. The inn has been refurbished with more rooms added. The historic guest bedrooms feature antiques, hardwood floors and a rustic setting. In 1999 the new building added spacious accommodations with vaulted ceilings, carpeting and decorated with more modern furnishings. All the rooms have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. The suites boast full kitchens, some sleep six and many can be adjoined. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. Relax over a meal in the large yard with picnic tables and a grill. A gazebo is accented with a fountain.
