Description
Circa 1911. A wraparound porch encircling this farmhouse-style inn communicates the feeling of real hospitality and sets the tone for the entire house. There's old and new wicker on the porch with bright fabrics, lots of plants and flower boxes. An old-fashioned porch swing adds to the feeling, and from the breakfast area, you can look out on a field of grazing Charolais cattle. The town was founded by Scottish Highlanders when they first came to this country. Every summer, the area hosts the largest gathering of Scottish clans in the United States.
