Description
Circa 1840. This brick home was built as a homestead on a large property of farmland and vineyards. The next owner constructed the impressive Greek Revival addition in 1860. The home also served guests as a tea room and later as a family-style eatery. Today, surrounded by the aroma of grapes in the vineyards, guests will enjoy the elegance and charm of the past, which has been wonderfully preserved at Brick House B&B. Full family-style buffet breakfasts are served in the home's formal dining room. Wintertime guests enjoy their morning meal in front of a warm fire. Each of the rooms offers something special. The Heritage Room includes a four-poster bed and high ceilings while the Maple View boasts Gothic crystal windows that look out to the 180+ year old maple trees. The Garden Room is another good choice and features an antique high-post canopy bed. Each evening guests are welcomed with homemade refreshments which change with the seasons.
This property has been featured in Canadian Leisure Ways, Seaway Trail., Buffalo PM. Location: Country and Vineyards.
