Wheeler as a wedding gift for his son in 1850, it was then rated "the most complete farmhouse in the county" by the local agricultural society. The classic design features a columned front porch that welcomes relaxation, as well as a back porch. Go through the grand two-story entry hall to the double parlors furnished with period antiques. There are nine fireplaces, several are found in romantic guest bedrooms that are without the distractions of phones or televisions. Savor a refined breakfast in the dining room each morning. Seasonal afternoon teas are offered by reservation. Browse through shops, visit the Sugar Loaf craft village and enjoy the many outdoor activities. Ask about specials and packages available. You can relax with an in-room TV/DVD/VCR.
