Description
The Allegheny Mountains provide a perfect backdrop for this restored Victorian home built by Robert H. Shankland, an influential citizen who owned the local newspaper, along with other enterprises. The home's 100-foot wraparound Greek Revival porch was added in the 1920s and patterned after the summer home of President Woodrow Wilson. A full breakfast is served to B&B guests. (There are two separate efficiency units offered to visitors with children or pets.) The only bed & breakfast within the village, it is located in the center of town where you'll enjoy following the tree-lined streets to restaurants and shops.
