Circa 1890. This inn is located on the banks of the Willowemoc stream, not far from where the first dry fly was cast in the United States. This early 20th-century retreat, with its excellent trout fishing, secluded woodlands, views of the valley and mountains continues to draw visitors today. The inn, situated in the Catskill Forest Preserve, offers wooded trails, wildlife and game, a stocked pond, swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool. Guests enjoy hearty breakfasts and fine dinners on the dining terrace overlooking the valley and romantic evenings in the Dry Fly Lounge.
