Room DetailGarden Room
A large and light filled space, one side of The Garden Room has sliding glass doors onto a small "Romeo and Juliet" balcony, overlooking the pool and lawn of the Inn. This room also has its own private entrance from the outside. Quite romantic, with a private adjoining bath.
Pond Room
The Pond room overlooks the neighboring pond and fountain. It has a private bath, off the hall outside. The bathtub is small, but the French shower unit makes the bath memorable.
Sage Room
With a bathroom as large as the bedroom itself, and a long clawfoot bathtub in which to soak, the Sage Room has its own intimate feeling. This room also has private access to the neighboring Pond Room, making it perfect as a two-bedroom suite.
Hunt Room
This bedroom is the largest bedroom in the house. It has ten windows facing three directions, a long desk, a fireplace, two double beds and its own private bathroom. A very large space. Excellent for a family, with a 300-year-old private staircase.
The Library
A lovely bedroom with built in bookshelves and fireplace, the library is directly off the central room. It is much preferred for its warmth and coziness. Semi-private bath.
The Chess Room
Named the Chess Room, because that's what it was
until just recently. It is the second bedroom in a 'suite' with the Garden Room and shares one bathroom. A fireplace to one side of the room; a wall of book cases to the other side. A private entrance. Very cozy.
Rate includes breakfast, cocktails, beach pass, camera, guest drinks at the nearby 'Almond Restaurant', bicycles

Historic Interest |
Box Farm is one of the few farmhouses which have survived from the 1600s. The property's first owners predated 1686. Expanded over generations, the house derived its form from early English and Dutch traditional homes. Although modified over time, it still remains an excellent example of architectural decoration of the 1700 and 1800s. The rarity and age of this residence, and architectural significance of the property have qualified it to be placed on the list of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Historic Awards: National Register (Granted), State Register (Granted), Local Register (Granted), National Historical Site (Granted), State Historical Site (Granted) and City Historical Site (Granted). Historic Memberships: National Trust.
