Wide hallways lead to the five large air-conditioned guest rooms furnished with special antiques, some with original fireplaces. Behind the old house is the air-conditioned Grand Room, with cathedral windows on three sides and a balcony library full of books, magazines, videos and music for leisurely entertainment. A full gourmet breakfast of freshly baked muffins and special egg dishes with homemade sausage or bacon made by chef Howard, a graduate of the New York Restaurants School, can be enjoyed on the blue stone patio. The surrounding countryside affords many activities such as hiking, skiing, golf or exploring antique shops, wineries or local artisan's pottery shops.
