Circa 1865. Built in 1865 and recently renovated, this all-season B&B inn is just one block from the popular Washington Street Mall in the heart of Cape May, New Jersey. Boasting an enlightened elegance, Elaine's Victorian Inn features panoramic windows in the cheery sun room. Sit on the veranda in relaxing rocking chairs overlooking the one-acre grounds. The New Jersey Shore is only two blocks away and beach chairs are provided. Lavishly furnished guest bedrooms and suites offer upscale amenities. A bountiful breakfast buffet is available daily. Premiere Room 1

This room is extraordinary in so many ways, located on the first floor it is designed for our guests with special needs. This bright, cheerful, sunlit room with an oversized private bath will make you feel right at home. The hand carved high back Victorian Queen beckons you to sleep peacefully. The room is handicapped accessible, however the bed is high.

Deluxe Room 2

Me' Lords & Ladies, welcome to our Medieval Chamber. This first floor deluxe guest room beckons your company. The centerpiece of this room is a magnificent half tester bed secreted in from a medieval castle. Tantalizing tapestries and draperies add to the atmosphere. You will sleep like royalty.

Premiere Suite 3

A Suite for the Sweet: This second floor premier suite is bright and airy! Stretch out in luxury or bring a friend, for here there is plenty of room. Easy access to our reading room & private veranda. The beautiful handcrafted cane Queen Size Victorian bed in this suite will invite you to raise a little cane of our own. Sweet Dreams

Elaine's Romantic Retreat: Satisfy your passion for elegance in one of Cape May's most desirable rooms. Spacious and magnificently appointed with a fainting couch and a luscious bed. This room features your own private veranda and sunroom, all just for the two of you. This second floor royal suite is always in demand. Make your reservations early!

The Mermaid Room: A stay in our Mermaid Room is certain to inspire a little seaside fantasy. The unique mystical atmosphere of this second floor deluxe guest room is highlighted by a one of a kind bedroom ensemble replete with hand hammered copper merfolk, which conjures you to float away on a sea of dreams.

The Mint Tulip Boudoir: There's something intoxicating about this mixture of fine Victorian furnishings. Add a dash of intrigue then blend with a wispy touch of misty green. Perhaps one of Elaine's most romantic rooms. One sip and you're hooked. This second floor deluxe guest room is one of our guest's favorites.

The Country Squire: Bask in the glow of this sun-drenched escape from foggy London town. You will believe you are one of the landed gentry in this extravagantly spacious room with two massive Queen beds. Located on the second floor, this deluxe guest room is sure to please the finest gents and ladies of the land.

Premiere Suite 8

The Westminster Suite: Located on the third floor, our vision for this room was so lofty that we had to remove the ceiling to accommodate the towering Queen size Renaissance bed. There is even a second room with a Twin bed, ideal to share with an extra guest. You'll be sure to request this premier suite every time you visit us!

The Artist's Loft: Everything about this room is an inspiration. Arched ceilings lend a sense of space and time. Located on the third floor, this deluxe guest room with provides an inspirational panorama of Cape May. But there is nothing abstract about the furniture and accessories. The creative atmosphere of this charming room will bring out the artist in you.
