Circa 1790. Decks and terraces overlook the enormous gardens of this Greek Revival house, listed in the local historic register. Guest rooms feature white-washed pine, cherry or Shaker-style country pieces accented with botanical prints, handwoven throws, rugs, pillows and fresh flowers. Breakfast is served in the solar garden room. Poached eggs on asparagus with hollandaise sauce, blueberry Belgian waffles and jumbo apple muffins with streusel topping are guests' favorite breakfast choices. The innkeeper is both a garden designer and weaver, and there is a handweaving studio on the premises. The inn is an Editor's Pick in Yankee Magazine.
