Circa 1865. Guests have enjoyed New England hospitality at this charming country inn since 1865. Guest rooms are located in the main inn and in the carriage house. There are several private cottages as well, each with one or more bedrooms, a living room, fireplace and private bath. French country decor and antiques create a romantic atmosphere. The inn is noted for its cuisine, but the dining room's mountain views are memorable, too. Breakfasts won't leave you hungry, a variety of country goodies are prepared. Dinners, served by candlelight, feature a menu which changes daily. The innkeepers offer a variety of packages, with golf, tennis, family vacation and theater-lovers as themes.
