Circa 1840. Originally the mid-way stop on the stagecoach route from Boston to Montreal, this inn has continued to provide comfortable accommodations in the foothills of the White Mountains for more than 150 years. Recently completely renovated, the antique furnishings are accented by a variety of oil paintings and artwork. Relax in a common sitting room in the main inn. The adjoining Elmwood Cottage offers additional guest bedrooms. Enjoy dining at the renowned Pasquaney Restaurant overlooking the lake. A private beach and boat dock enhance the many outdoor activities available. Inside, enjoy a TV and card room, Jacuzzi and weight room.
