Description

Circa 1817. In the 1850s this inn was purchased by Henry Dunklee, innkeeper of the old Mayfield Inn across the street. When there was an overflow of guests at his tavern, Mr. Dunklee accommodated them here. This totally renovated Victorian mansion features veranda views of Crotched, Temple and Monadnock Mountains. There is a conference room with a lovely mountain view. The gracious innkeepers and comfortable interiors have been enjoyed by many well-traveled guests, including Dolores and Bob Hope.
