Description
Circa 1811. This farmhouse inn and cedar guest cabin are found on a working cattle operation, little more than an hour's drive from St. Louis. Seven generations have lived and worked the farm, which boasts 460 acres. Visitors stay in the 1880s farmhouse or the cabin, built from cedar cut on the farm. The inn's proximity to the Meramec River and Vilander Bluffs provides excellent views and many outdoor activities. Spring visitors are treated to the sight of baby calves. Meramec Caverns and several state parks are nearby.
