Circa 1836. This historic plantation offers a glimpse of life in the 19th-century South. The late Colonial/Greek Revival structure was built primarily by slaves, with construction lasting two years. The inn's 183 acres boast fishing ponds, pasture and woods, and guests love to explore, hike and ride horses. Four guest rooms are available, two with private bath. Visitors enjoy the inn's collection of 19th- and early 20th-century horse and farm equipment. Noxubee Wildlife Refuge and the Tombigbee National Forest are within easy driving distance.
