Circa 1895. Gus Thayer originally built this railroad-style hotel to accommodate weary travelers. It epitomized the era when dining, dancing, singing and sleeping was all under one roof. Innkeeper and psychic, Sharon Gammell, has restored this award-winning Victorian and it is now listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Richly appointed rooms feature authentic period furnishings, four-poster beds and hot tubs. Enjoy gourmet breakfast specialties such as raspberry cheese blintzes served on smoked bacon and hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries. On scheduled weekends packages include "Mystery Dinners to Die For."
