Circa 1957. Innkeepers Dave and Kathy Laursen are Minnesota natives, and after years away, returned to their home state and opened this serene, waterfront B&B. The English Tudor affords views of Lake Leech from most of its rooms, which are decorated with a mix of traditional and Victorian furnishings. The Laursens are nature lovers, having trekked across miles of mountain trails and scenic areas. They are happy to point out nearby recreation sites, including the North Country Trail, a 68-mile journey through Chippewa National Forest. There are also 150 miles of paved bike trails to enjoy.
