Description
Circa 1872. Steep bluffs surround Lanesboro on three sides with hundreds of forested acres, providing spectacular fall colors. Mrs. B's is an old limestone building that was once a furniture store and funeral parlor. Now handsomely renovated and furnished, the inn has a baby grand piano and a well-stocked library in the downstairs lobby. Four-poster and half-canopied beds in the upstairs guest rooms are topped with quilts. Weekend dinner packages are tasty and highly recommended. (Ask for the baked trout with pilaf or fillet of beef tenderloin with Yorkshire pudding.) The inn has a resident story-teller.
