Visitors select from five guest rooms, many decorated in elegant Victorian style. The inn, just nine blocks from the St. Croix River, is a popular stop for couples celebrating anniversaries. Guests enjoy afternoon tea and a decadent gourmet breakfast is served each morning. Antiquing, fine dining, bicycling and skiing are nearby, and there are many picnic spots in the area.

Named for one of Miranda and James' sons, this main floor room with its nine-foot oak windows is decorated with jewel tones and rich navy velvet fabrics that create a feeling of elegance. The room features a beautiful Victorian oak bed and an in-room double whirlpool tub that sits in front of a lovely oak fireplace. Opening onto the grand parlor, this room was the Mulvey family library. It still houses a small library for guests' enjoyment.

This room is named for the elder Mulvey daughter. Light streams from a cranberry glass lamp and marble-top nightstands flank the beautiful hand-rubbed King-size mahogany bed. Soft green walls echo the beautiful grounds guests enjoy from the serenade balcony. Floor-to-ceiling windows let light stream into this serene Victorian setting accented with burgundy and gold. The private bath has a double whirlpool tub and shower.
