Circa 1867. Located on two acres of waterfront on the St. Croix River, this historic inn reflects an old New England-style architecture. Guest rooms offer Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, waterfront balconies and are decorated with American country antiques. A restaurant on the premises provides candlelight dining in the Wheel Room. (Ask for Banana Foster, or any flaming dessert—a house specialty.) Or you might prefer to dine in the Catfish Saloon & Cafe, which has a more casual menu. Champagne Brunch cruises are offered on the Grand Duchess May-October.
