Circa 1876. This three-story Second Empire Victorian, encompasses 10,000 square feet and comes complete with tower, slate mansard roof, dormers, porches and an elaborate wrought iron fence. Its riverfront location across the street from the St. Clair River affords the pastime of watching freighters and barges pass by. Guest rooms feature reproductions and antiques, and some rooms have fireplaces. A billiard room and two parlors are available for relaxing. Breakfast is served family style in the dining room. The Historic St. Clair Inn, a five-minute walk away, offers an interesting dining option.
