Description
Circa 1899. This gracious, Victorian Italianate hotel has been welcoming guests since the turn of the century. At one point in its history, the hotel almost was converted into a hospital. It has remained a place for hospitality instead. Some of the pleasant, period-style guest rooms boast balconies overlooking Little Traverse Bay. Guests can enjoy live music, from jazz to folk, at the hotel's Noggin Room Pub. The H.O. Rose Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and The Salon serves appetizers in the afternoon and evening. In season, the Rose Garden veranda is a great place for enjoying lunch, appetizers and cocktails. For guests seeking relaxation after a day exploring the area, there is a hot tub on the premises.
