Description
Circa 1898. Two towers, several balconies and a wraparound porch are features of this unique Queen Anne Victorian. Its romantic location half way between the Black River walkway and Lake Michigan offers pleasant waterside strolls and close proximity to the beach. The inn is also across from Stanley Johnson Park. Request one of the three round guest rooms in the towers; all offer fireplaces and private balconies. The Tower Suite boasts splendid views as well. Breakfast features a gourmet entree such as wild rice quiche, creamy breakfast lasagna, or an egg casserole and includes fresh fruit and baked goods. The inn was built as part of a resort and during recent renovation old love letters, now on display, were found in the walls. Enjoy the white wicker swing on the porch underneath the soft breeze of ceiling fans. Evening snacks are served at 6 p.m. and bedtime cookies at 8 p.m.
