It boasts an elegance luxuriously reflected in the period antiques and furnishings. Stroll the one acre of English gardens before relaxing with a beverage on the wraparound veranda or in one of the parlors. Spacious guest bedrooms and suites feature exquisite decor. Sleep in a sleigh or full tester bed, lounge on a fainting couch and view the grounds through ten-foot windows. Linger over a satisfying breakfast before heading out for the day's activities. Room DetailThe DeLano Suite
Named for the owners of the house from just after the turn of the century through 1987, this is a second-floor suite with a private, attached bath. The DeLano suite features an impressive full tester bed, meaning it has a full canopy suspended from massive corner posts. The bedroom suite includes accompanying bedside tables, armoire, and fainting couch, plus a desk and side chair for relaxing with a book. The room includes TV/VCR with cable. The bath pampers you with a generous sunflower showerhead, solid brass fixtures and in-room sink. The room also includes a luxurious two-person whirlpool tub.

The Davis Suite
Named after the builder of the house, David Doane Davis, this is a spacious suite with a private, attached full bath. The Davis Suite is the only bedroom on the main floor of the house. Amenities include 12-foot ceilings soaring above a carved Italian marble fireplace (non-working), a queen-sized sleigh bed, marble-topped bedside tables, and period banquet lamps. The suite includes TV/VCR with cable. The sitting area features large windows looking out onto the spacious west lawn, a settee, matching chair and carved oak side table. The attached bath features a full size tub for relaxing soaks, and a porcelain pedestal sink with separate make-up table.

The Ashley Room
Named for the owners of the house from 1987-1998, this is a second-floor room with private, attached full bath. The Ashley room features a beautifully carved queen-size Renaissance revival bed and accompanying bedside table, and overlooks the west lawn through 10-foot windows. It also includes an antique marble-topped dresser, and sitting area with two parlor chairs, an electric fireplace, and a marble-topped parlor table. The room includes TV/VCR with cable. The attached bath includes a full tub and solid brass fixtures, plus a spacious marble vanity.

The Chaddock Room
Named for the owners of the house about the turn of the century, this is a second-floor room with private, attached half bath. The Chaddock room features a beautifully carved queen-size "tall" bed— the matress is almost waist-high on most adults! The bedroom suite includes accompanying bedside tables, a dresser and washstand, plus a side chair and electric fireplace for relaxing with a book. The room includes TV/VCR with cable. The bath features a generous sunflower showerhead and solid brass fixtures, plus an in-room antique corner sink.
