Description
Circa 1771. A few years after the Whitlocks built this 1771 Federal-style house they converted and joined it with two other buildings for lodging. It has operated as an inn ever since and is smoke-free. Luxurious amenities feature four-poster canopy beds, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, VCRs and a video movie library. Furnishings include Oriental rugs, maple floors, antiques and reproductions. A complimentary continental-plus breakfast is offered midweek in winter and spring and a full breakfast is served in summer, fall and weekends throughout the year. Enjoy Saturday afternoon tea and freshly baked scones with English clotted cream. Candlelight dinners of regional American cuisine are available in summer, fall and on weekends throughout the year. Room Detail2-bedroom suite
 Privately located on our top floor, our two-bedroom suite is comprised of two private bedrooms and two private baths sharing a living room and kitchenette. The bedrooms both can be configured with king beds or two twin beds.
Tier 1 Rooms and(Tier 1F)
 Tier 1 and 1F rooms are the largest. They offer a choice of King, two twins or Queen four-poster canopy bed, 25" TV/VCR, and a bathtub with whirlpool jets and shower. Tier 1F rooms also offer wood-burning fireplaces.
Tier 2 rooms
 Tier 2 rooms are bit less roomy, but offer the same bed selection as Tier 1, a 25" TV/VCR in an armoire and most have bathtubs with whirlpool jets and shower.
Tier 3 Rooms
 Tier 3 rooms are our smallest, offer a choice of queen or full bed, and have a 20" TV/VCR.
