Description
Circa 1808. Adjacent to Salem Common and the historic district, this fine example of a Federal-style home is completely restored both inside and out. Antiques, Oriental rugs and original hardwood floors add to the inn's natural charm. The inn's original 1808 fireplaces, featured in each room, although not operating, add to the inn's architectural character. Muffins, croissants, bagels and fresh fruit are the morning fare. The home is one block from the visitor's center and close to the Maritime Historic Site, Peabody Essex Museum, the Salem Witch Museum, House of Seven Gables and whale-watching cruises. Guests can walk to the train and head out for a day exploring Boston.
Location: City/Urban and Heart of historic Salem.
