Circa 1849. In the historic district of Falmouth's Village Green, this secluded plantation-style home is listed in the National Register and sits on more than an acre of park-like grounds. Built for a sea captain's bride, the home was named for its spacious center hallways. All of the corner guest bedrooms feature Queen-size canopy beds, private baths and sitting areas with color TVs and DVD players. Breakfast is served in the fireplaced dining room or on the wraparound porch and includes yogurt with granola, fresh fruit dish, cereals, coffeecake and just-made muffins. Bicycles are available to explore the Shining Sea bike path or take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Enjoy a round of golf or tennis and visit one of the area's many attractions.
