Description

Circa 1825. Just back from historic Old King's Highway, in a seaside village, this country inn is a restored Greek Revival mansion built by shipwrights. It is located on the site of the original Liberty Pole dating from Revolutionary times. A romantic decor includes fine antiques and original architectural features, enhancing the tall windows and high ceilings. Guests can request rooms with a fireplace and whirlpool tub in a restored historic barn. Stroll past the inn's lawns for a brief walk to antique shops, restaurants and an old-fashioned ice cream parlor.

This property has been featured in Cape Cod Life, Colonial Homes, Cape Cod Travel Guide, Yankee Magazine's "Editor's Pick" - 2002 Travel Guide, Cape Cod Travel Guide "Editor's Choice" 2006.

Location: Ocean Community and Village setting.

Inkeepers Notes

The Inn was built by the Hallet family, shipwrights who manufactured fine pianos in Boston. This nine-bedroom, 1825 majestic home reflects the charm and elegance of a bygone era. It is set back from the historic Old Kings Highway with lilacs, roses and centuries old rhododendron. Yarmouthport is the "heart" of Cape Cod. Our central location provides easy and convenient access to all of Cape Cod's attractions
