Harbor Light Inn

Description

Circa 1729. This early 18th-century inn is an elegant New England retreat. Oriental rugs, refined furnishings, fine paintings and items such as four-poster beds create a warm, inviting character. A dozen of the guest rooms include a fireplace, and some offer sunken Jacuzzi tubs. For three years, Vacations magazine ranked the inn as one of the nation's most romantic. The inn is located within walking distance of shops and restaurants, as well as Marblehead Harbor.

Windows have original raised panel shutters. Bathroom has six-foot double Jacuzzi with glass brick window.

Large fireplaced room, mahogany canopy queen bed. Damask wing chair on side of working fireplace (in season), Mahogany desk, TV, VCR and remote stereo/CD player. Bathroom has Jacuzzi with glass brick window.
