DescriptionCirca 1906. When visiting Martha's Vineyard, Twin Oaks offers two pleasurable places to choose from that are within walking distance to the beach, ferry or downtown shops. Stay at the award-winning Clark House, a classic bed & breakfast or the Hanover House, an elegant three-diamond country inn just next door. Gather on one of the porches, the large backyard or private brick patio and gazebo. Complimentary bikes and high-speed Internet access are available on a first come first serve basis. Each of the comfortable guest bedrooms offer Internet access. Join the "breakfast party" for a bountiful continental-plus morning meal. This property has been featured in New York Times. Location: Ocean Community. Inkeepers NotesThe Hanover House, a recognized Three Diamond AAA Inn, provides a great value for guests with the charm of a country home and the convenience of a village inn. We are a five minute walk to town, 10 minutes to the ferry and within a few minutes to all the necessary transportation on the island. Our individually decorated, and well maintained rooms, provide a warm and comfortable place to start and end your day. Each morning we offer a substantial breakfast that includes special homemade waffles, egg dishes, potatoes and standard continental items. On a first come first serve basis, we also provide bicycles. The grounds provide a secluded feeling, even though the Inn is just a short walk from town. Before the day begins, enjoy our expanded continental breakfast sitting on our porch, at one of the outdoor garden tables, or one of the decks shared by the guests. When you are done, take advantage of the Hanover House's location to enjoy all the Island's activities in Vineyard Haven and the other Island Towns. The Hanover House is owned and operated by Steve Perlman, a retired academic and business man. As the son of an academic, Steve grew up spending his summers on the Vineyard. Since that time, the Island has remained a constant "home" in his life. Martha's Vineyard was even the backdrop for his doctoral research. Steve hopes a stay at the Hanover House Inn will become an integral part of your personal attachment to Martha's Vineyard. Room DetailRoom 1
