Description

Circa 1897. One of Berkshire County’s oldest bed & breakfast inns, the 1897 Georgian Colonial Main House and Carriage House have been completely renovated and feature a 1930s decor. This in-town landmark was built during the Gilded Age between the Wharton and Morgan family estates. Common areas boast fireplaces, crystal sconces, elaborate moldings and a three-story suspended staircase. Vintage furniture, fireplaces, TV/VCRs, CD players, Jacuzzis or antique clawfoot tubs are found in most of the guest bedrooms. The innkeepers are originally from Georgia and offer a hearty Southern-style breakfast that changes daily. Listen to the Boston Symphony playing at nearby Tanglewood. Ask about off-season specials.

This property has been featured in Michelin Green Guide, Traditional Home Magazine.

Location: Country, Mountains, Historic cultural area. Inland Newport and Tanglewood.
