Description

Circa 1800. Huge maple trees shade the yard of this historic house, four miles from historic Deerfield and one mile from Route 91. Decorated with antiques, the bed chambers feature coordinating bedspreads and window treatments. One suite includes a sitting room, and canopy beds are another romantic touch. Breakfasts include items such as three-cheese stuffed French toast, an apple puff and fresh fruit topped with a yogurt-cheese sauce. The home is near historic Deerfield, and guests can walk to restaurants. The battle of Bloody Brook Massacre in 1675 occurred at this site, now landscaped with perennial English gardens. Yankee Candle is only one-half mile away and Historic Deerfield is only three miles away.
