DescriptionCirca 1880. Located one-and-a-half miles from Tanglewood, this welcoming inn has a 70-year history. Originally, the Main House was a guest house and the adjacent Carriage house was a speakeasy. The MacDonald House was the former home of a Civil War veteran and U.S. Representative. The decor of each building, respectively, is Victorian, country primitive and Colonial. Many of the guest bedrooms feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, mini-bars and decks. The suites offer a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast can be enjoyed overlooking the waterfall and Koi pond. Every evening a private full-service pub opens. Experience classic hospitality just minutes from New England’s sites and activities. Inkeepers NotesA beautiful Lenox inn located in the heart of historic Lenox village, the Cornell Inn is just up the road from Tanglewood. A three-guesthouse Inn, our buildings date back to 1777. Originally built as a family home by the Cornell family, the inn's Main House (c. 1888) is a Victorian with 10 unique guest rooms. Adjacent to Kennedy Park, a town park with trails for hiking, biking, walking, running and skiing, The Main House also houses Duffy's Pub, a private pub for our houseguests. A full, wonderful breakfast is included each morning and is served in the Main House. Many of our guests return year after year, and many recommend us to their friends. The Cornell Inn is open year-round and welcomes corporate guests. Now featuring WiFi, we also have a laptop computer in the pub which is for guests to use at no charge.
