DescriptionPeacefully sitting on the banks of a scenic waterway in Talbot County, Miles River Guest House is easily accessible yet serenely secluded on the Eastern Shore of Maryland located geographically between Easton and St. Michaels on the Miles River. Sitting adjacent to the owners’ 8-acre farm, this two-bedroom guest house offers privacy without boredom. Enjoy unlimited use of a two-person kayak and canoe, fish and crab off the dock or swim in the in-ground pool. The Great Room boasts a Bokara oriental rug on the brick floor, a leather couch, sofa bed, fireplace, jukebox and mahogany bar. The first floor also features a guest bedroom and washer and dryer. A continental–plus breakfast is provided in the kitchen in advance. Upstairs, the master suite has a sitting area with a desk and a brass telescope. Luxury Comfort HDTV The large River Room has a gas logs fireplace, high definition flat screen with all Dish Network channels, classic 70s cocktail video game. Kitchenette and mahogany dining table (extends to seat 6). One stereo system with CD player provides music to the pool and deck, the other over the fireplace is an ipod dock. The interior and deck area have high speed wireless Internet.

The spacious Master Bed Room has a King-size bed, antique chests, sofa, reading chair, desk and 5 windows with views of the Miles River, pool and 11-acre horse farm. The private bathroom has shower, bath and Frette robes.
The first floor bedroom has an excellent view of the river with one window. The room has a small chest and closet and has a large bathroom with shower, tub, washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The River Room is a luxurious room with red brick floors, redwood ceiling, mahogany bar with Bokara Oriental and two rich leather sofas (one a full-size sleeper).
If your idea of relaxing tends more toward reading a book, floating in the pool, watching fabulous sunsets, enjoying a glass of wine while your steak sizzles on the grill, you found the right place.
Sunsets are fabulous at Miles River Guest House. We never take them for granted. Like a giant canvas, the crimson cape of God is unveiled in every conceivable color.
The river is alive with every type of waterfowl. Watch the osprey dive for fish or see an occasional bald eagle in Spring and Summer. In the Fall and Winter the cove is teaming with wild Canadian geese, drifting from the sky at sunset to land peacefully on the water.
Guests have unlimited use of our two-person kayak or canoe to explore the coves, creek and river. On land, walk the grounds of the horse farm and enjoy the tree swing.
Indulge in soothing therapies for the face, skin and body for yourself or as a couple. Luxuriate by yourself in your own private sanctuary wherever you want, by the pool, on the dock, in the guest house.
Your breakfast can be customized from fresh fruit and pastries, coffee, tea, orange juice or bacon and eggs. Just let us know. It will be tucked away for you in the kitchen area for you to serve yourself whenever you want.
