The Elliott House was built in 1870 as the family home of Eli Stanton, and stands next to Stanton's Mill, a now-renovated grist mill. The outhouses (now guest cottages) and barn date from the same period. Historic sites nearby: 1813 Casselman Bridge, the original Inn at Little Crossings (across the street, The Spruce Forest Artisan Village, open to the public May-October (immediately opposite the Elliott Inn)
