DescriptionCirca 1870. A favorite activity here is watching the parade of boats and ships from the waterfront porch. The Inn at the Canal was built by the Brady family, who owned the tugboats that operated on the canal. Rooms are furnished in antiques and quilts. The dining room and parlor are set off by original hand-painted and elaborately designed ceilings. Guests enjoy European soaking tubs and fine amenities. The historic canal town offers a fine collection of restaurants and shops. Location: Waterfront.
