Circa 1897. Peacefully situated among the pines on a hill in the Lakes Region of Southwestern Maine, this resort offers a variety of on-site activities. Swim in an uncrowded lake with a sandy beach, play croquet, badminton, shuffleboard, tennis or ping pong. Walk to the nearby public 18-hole golf course. Bicycles, canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are available to use. Comfortable accommodations in the circa 1897 inn feature air-conditioned rooms with refrigerators. A daily continental breakfast is included. Private cottages feature kitchenettes or fully equipped kitchens and screened porches with rockers.
