Circa 1851. Built in an exceptional and unusual octagon shape in the 1850s, with an ell and an attached barn, this lakeside bed and breakfast is listed in the National Register. The Gallery or common room is in the renovated barn with a large fireplace between the living room and dining area. Intimate suites boast stunning views of the water, some have a fireplace, terrace or balcony and each features a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room with TV. Some suites occupy two levels. Breakfast is always a satisfying meal and a special treat looking out on the water. Open for year-round enjoyment, fish, swim, canoe, or take a ride on the motor boat from the dock on Messalonskee, one of the Belgrade Lakes.
